mpc says scsi read error? help

it reads the zip drive but when i insert the disk in the zip it makes clicking noise and then says scsi read error. i dunno what to do i'm pulling my hair out!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats what they call the "COD" .."CLICK OF DEATH!" Look it up on the net if you dont believe me!!! Basically the ZIP DISK and probably the DRIVE is folded mate! You sure you was using brand new disks to start with? and a brand new drive? hhmmmm get a refund or exchange or get Iomega to send you out replacements ASAP! Cause there is no more ZIP for you!

You might get away with just buying some new disks, but sometimes that COD can spread and mess up your drive which then messes up every disk you try new or old....sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

well it was a second hand drive but the disks were brand new maybe a new drive eh?

go to iomega.com ...GO TO LIVE CUSTOMER SUPPORT and tell them whats up it should have a 4 year warrenty still so they will send you out a new one. or take it back. up to you.

If you have a scsi connection then the most probable deal is that your fuse got blown for some wierd reason so check out getting that repaired.
