  3.0 yeah you're right but disk streaming I don't see it. They have to revamp in order to do that. Disk streaming will make a lot of people happy.

Given the apparent specs for the Live mk2, I know some folks want more memory or cpu... but I'm kinda happy because it likely means a bit longer before they start dropping more advanced hardware... we all know at some point these devices won't be the latest and greatest... for now we're likely to see the updates continue to be backwards compatible on the platform at least.

Oh.
That would be very unkind and clever at the same time.
I guess it's coming with 2.8 anyway, release date is the same for both.
I hope so.

I want to see what people will do with the new updates.

Theoretically....if 3.0 came with Disk Streaming....the 2gb of RAM wouldn't mean anything. It would open up the door to Allocate those extra GBs for shit like more Plugins, possible Outside VST Support.

As far as the New Updates....For me...i like the idea of being able to record on multiple tracks, Bouncing Pads from Program to Program.. Hopefully they implemented Moving Tracks around, and Moving Effect Slots up or down

I ain't the only one who sees 3.0 should be with MKII. I agree with40

Who told you that? Dude you're about to buy a new machine for $1,199 and no 3.0? That makes sense. And they can jump all the other MPCs into 3.0. They sent men to the moon they could do that.

Then you gotta wait for 3.0? See this is the ass backwardness of Akai that l cant get wit. But believe what you want and have fun.
