Creating new song

New to my Mpc I sampled some drums n made a song saved all n everything , but now I want to create a new beat , everytime I turn my mpc back on it loads in the old song automatically, how does one create a new beat ?

What mpc?

You saved into an autoload folder or on the root drive.

Older mpc’s can automatically read aps/all from those locations. Save entire memory to a folder and that is one project, every project/song needs it’s OWN folder with all it’s bits and pieces in it.
No autoload folder and nothing on root, always have songs saved in their own folders and when you boot up mpc will be empty and you can start with a clean slate.

This is my experience from 4k and 2kxl.
