2.8 is great but all the reverb fx reverted to a new default (60% room & 1.3 sec instead of 100% & 1.9 sec) in all of my projects...
Anyone else?

Qlink move immediately now, no latency anymore.
And touchscreen is more responsive.
Great job.

Boy... I never thought about the defaults like that. I'd be curious if you can just save over the default and see if it fixes the behavior. I would've thought all that data was stored in the project file... but that'd lead me to believe it is referencing whatever the default is set to on storage.

I noticed that...I wasnt gonna say anything...

For me I like going to my Air Delay in 2.6. It was always set just right at 50% wet, 1/8D i believe, Not offset to the left. Now its set to the "Init" settings. Which is 100% Wet, Offset to the Left, etc....Which is cool i guess.

Workaround for that is to Set it to the old 2.6 Settings, and Create another "Init" Setting and save it.
So when i Open my Air Delay in 2.8, i have to Scroll to my "Init" Setting. Minor Prob, easily solved lol

Thanks, wasnt quite sure how that worked. Either way not a big deal.
Its actually better for me because while the reverb sounded good in the headphones it was always too saturated in the car
Maybe the SPKR wouldnt be so bad

Really loving the 2.8 Update. It's making my setup a lot more usable now...hardware and soft synths playing nicely together:

gotta work on my cable management for sure now :)

WHATT?

Is this true? So we can finally map external controllers to control MPC functions?

Tell me its true ....

I'd love using my LCXL for track mixing of my live. And I could add a bunch of knobs for XY etc to make things even sweeter!

Or wait.. are you talking about the pad remapping? :x

I was totally happy about 2.8, especially to use qlinks smoothly (finally!!!) and the qlink overlay (great idea!!!).
But then as I started to play my projects, I just notice there's something wrong with instant track mute again, samples don't turn off as you change sequence even if they are muted on next sequence.
Very annoying.
Sadly I went back to 2.6.
Hoping they fix it soon.

Hmm my 2.6 was working fine. With 2.8 the live is taking noticeably longer to boot up (+5 sec), load projects (+3 sec) & save (+3 sec).
This is the first time I used USB stick to update.

Dang I haven’t even updated and y’all are already talking about rolling back to 2.6?

The shine wore off that 2.8 penny quick. LOL

I’ll update my Live this weekend and check it all out. Hope the update is still independent of the software. I think my software is at 2.1 or something like that. I never open it.
