Everywhere I look, I see people making requests like the ones in this thread. LOL, but never have I seen a request for a built in speaker. Though I do think it’s silly for an MPC.

Not upgrading anyway, so couldn’t care less that it’s there. If people like it, they like it. Must be a huge group of people requested it to influence a design decision to include it.

On akai’s get satisfaction forums, tons of posts asking why their Bluetooth speaker won’t connect.

I think people often forget that this forum - MPC-forums.com - does NOT represent the majority of MPC Live/One/X owners out there. We literally only have about 50 people actively participating in threads on a regular basis. Akai has likely sold tens of thousands of the new generation of MPC's, and with that many owners out there, this place is barely a blip.

It's humbling, but needs to be pointed out.

Edit: does that not even make us the vocal minority?

Plus the majority of new MPC users, have a hard time knowing the difference between a Drum Program, Key Group, or Audio Track.

I'm seeing roughly (under) 50 people who regularly chime in here in the "MPC X, MPC Live & MPC One" section of the forums. I'm sure there are more participants in other sections. But yeah, forums are generally where you find all of the vocal minorities.
