Right? Guitar Center and Sweetwater are arguably the largest online e-retailers for the US, and both were sold out almost immediately. Sweetwater didn't even have a live page with available stock, as all of their stock went to pre-orders (presumably people who were waiting for Live MK1)!

Guitar Center lasted the longest - they had available stock all the way up until 11PM last night, when is the last time I checked. As of 8 AM this morning, it was all gone.

Geez, I was waiting for GC to be able to do curbside pick up. Guess I should have just shipped it. Oh well...I have force, live 1, and X, and don't use either of them nearly enough lol.

It's no rush, they'll get more stock. Plus with memorial day coming up, they'll be lots of sales.

Like we discussed last time, this doesn’t mean a lot were sold. Can’t tell that unless you know how much inventory was actually delivered / promised to the stores.

However, it’d be great if they did sell a lot of them. Would be a good boost for Akai. And hopefully fund more developments like 2.8. Personally I’d wait until Memorial Day sales anyway. Could get a nice discount.

It's clear that their entire inventory for both MPC One and MPC Live 2 sold out pretty quick, but sure - that doesn't mean it was a lot. It just means everything they could manage to manufacture and ship during a worldwide pandemic where we know supply chain issues are occurring has been sold.

Either way, it's a good problem to have.
