Man that’s old family stuff. I caught years of that type of stuff from aunts and uncles. LOL

I updated mine this evening. Haven’t used it yet though. Gotta get this song mixed and ready for release...

Aaaaaaaaaand speaking of releases... cmon Danoc, you KNEW this was coming... lol. New Blue Soul Ten releasing 5/22. Another Day featuring Syauqi Destanika. Debuted on UK radio yesterday, and Brazilian radio tonight. Album coming August 2020. You know I gotta get my publicity in bro. LOL

Indeed.

I do hope Akai gets some of these issues resolved quickly though. Never good creating update excitement, then folks talking about rolling back.

I mean we all want good things to come in every update of course but the thirst multiplied with the heaviest kid on Christmas eve anticipation is unreal.

And shine on the penny, yep, old school, I remember hearing that a lot when I was young.

Old school like roller rinks.

Old school like playing cards and clothes pins in bicycle spokes.

Old school like walking around the neighborhood with an aluminum can crushed around your sneaker.

Old school like channel 3 and duck hunt.

Old school like Oregon Trial.

I’ll stop now.

Some bugs were expected bound to creep in considering how much new stuff this update brought to the table. Its unfortunate that a feature as vital as track muting got wrecked, but also it creates a huge pressure for Akai to drop 2.8.1 sooner.

I aint downgrading, hell no. I aint even relying on my MPC for serious work, so no need. I'll just put it back on the shelf until this gets fixed, guessing it wont be long.

And whats with the snarkness? Its like some of yall are enjoying the fact that 2.8 came out buggy.. :hmmm: Or you just love to be dramatic for "the community" :smoker:

No that's not it. Ive been telling cats Akai and their nonsense and they don't listen. None of these cats aren't saying a dam thing. One of the reason lm selling my live.

You claim bugs are expected. :WTF: :Sigh: What are YIU TALKING ABOUT? Where have you been since 2017? The things l see you guys say is like yall don't see the obvious and keep hyping Akai and the more you hype Akai the more they crap up.

See here YOU GO TSUTEK trying to some hiw wiggle a nonsensical idea because we're laughing its our fault the dam bugs are here. Don't blaim use go to Akai and ask them why the bugs are here.

Its been from 2017 and Akai can't seem to get theur crap right. 2017!!!! Then they don't implement what we really and keep giving bubble gum bullsh**.

YOU keep hanging on and don't get mad at us cause we laugh. Myself and others not falling for the bull! So the lil angry you have go aim it at Akai! Are YOU scared to ask Akai what the hell is going on? We didn't make the MPC they did. Get the same courage towards them as you do to us. The funny thing is my machine works perfectly since 2017. But l can see the bull, ask yourself " if his machine works why is he on Akai's case and selling his MPC live "

Just bypass those weirdos.
I hope they gonna fix the issue soon, it's a shame, it's a wonderful update but that track mute issue drives me crazy.

Now that's some creepy weird crap.

Some threaten to leave, disappear for a week, come right back, same name. Troll shit and/or attention whorin' like a naked girl on a beach doing handstands.

The track muting thing, I haven't jumped heavy into track muting on X yet but if that went haywire it's a big deal as I understand a lot of people use it. I was a heavy track mute user on 4k, I get it.

What Danoc said.

Y’all and these “hater” insinuations. Goodness, it’s overboard. It’s not hate, it’s a desire to want to see improvements. The difference is that some want foundational improvements. And some want shiny new toy improvements. Neither are wrong. But one thing is certain, the shine will come off that shiny new stuff quick if the foundation is broken. Just like it did. Am I happy about that? Of course not. I’m rooting for Akai. I rely on my MPC daily.

Going from “This is the greatest update ever!!!” To “I got issues I’m rolling back”. Y’all don’t see any humor / irony in that??? It impacts me too - I also think this is the most meaningful update, in fact since the 1.x days. And if I have to roll back because an issue I will. But I can still appreciate the humor / irony in it. But it’s snarky / “hating” to point it out??? Really? The level of beta sensitivity on this board has reached a new level lately. It’s like someone pushed the “level up” button. Learn the history of insinuating “hate” (in it’s various forms). Using that insinuation shows such a soft, emotional, sensitive and powerless character trait. I didn’t make that up - that’s history. Rant over.

C’mon y’all. Stop being so sensitive.

@ Eyalc

Actually is the opposite, I am an Mpc lover and Mpc Live is the centre of my music production since 2 years.
It's just they don't get anything outside their way of writing here to pass the time.
I am not here to pass the time, I am here because it's vital for me that Mpc works fine.
And with 2.8, which is a Wonderful update for touchscreen and qlink improvements and qlink overlay, they screwed up instant track mute.
At least on my Mpc Live running 2.8, some samples on drum tracks keep on playing even when I switch to a new sequence where the drum track is supposed to be muted.
That's very annoying for the way I work.
