I installed the 2.8 version and tried to connect my MOTU Midi Time Piece XT but no dice. MPC X Standalone would not recognize it. Must be the because it is not Class Compliant (needs drivers to be recognized).
Can anyone confirm this?
I found a MIDI interface that does not need drivers. Its the ESI M8U eX. Tech Specs says : "The 100% fully class compliant device".
Is that the type I need to get to have the MPC X Standalone recognize it?
Just want to make sure before I buy.
