You're telling me! :D I don't think 'class compliant' was even a thing when the AMT8 was made but what do ya know. Went through a couple of songs and changed all the ports around and damn, the thing works connected to the MPC just like it does connected to a Mac. I thought all this time the only reason it worked was because Logic installs the drivers for it.

  look man don't do that. You're trying to get a rise outta me ?

 nah, I gotta can the sarcasm. Last thing I would do is ask for a SPKR.
So would you try out the behringer mpc (assuming it's standalone, I didn't check) or are you going laptop/controller?

So I did try using my mackie pro usb mixers and enabling in the preferences seeing that would work.. nope it didn't I will say about 40 minutes into my beat making session the first time I'm 3 months using the software it froze but I was able to save somehow.. but I will disable the mackie usbs and see if that was the problem if not wow I won't use the software again...

I doubt it was your Mackie USB mixer. I could be wrong but....

I tested out the software its ok but not for me. Akai has work to do on it to be a top tier DAW. Maybe they don't care.

Yeah, as I mentioned at GS - USB class compliance has been a thing since the late 90's. Very cool your AMT8 works like that, though - talk about breathing life into 20 year old gear!

I aint downgrading, hell no. I aint even relying on my MPC for serious work, so no need. I'll just put it back on the shelf until this gets fixed, guessing it wont be long.

And whats with the snarkness? Its like some of yall are enjoying the fact that 2.8 came out buggy.. :hmmm: Or you just love to be dramatic for "the community" :smoker:

Just bypass those weirdos.
I hope they gonna fix the issue soon, it's a shame, it's a wonderful update but that track mute issue drives me crazy.

Wow! I am starting to remember why I dont hang around here much anymore

People getting butthurt, I was just curious what was so funny about the bugs? Beta calling? :smoker:

You telling me to relax, what for? I aint even upset.

Anyhow, lets hope the bugfixes come soon.

@danoc, look, I don't care what gear you using. If you want to sell the MPC, go ahead. You always sounded like an ITB guy anyways, probably better off in a DAW. Its all good. Its just gear at the end of the day, it dont make the songs by itself.
