2.8 and 'Hybrid' plug-in :-{

hi all ..

just installed 2.8 on my mac ( osx 10.13.4 ) ..
all plug-ins seem to work ok

except for Hybrid
loading .. then trying to display it ..
causes the mpc 2.8 to quit unexpectedly

anyone else with this issue ??

tried an 'uninstall / reinstall' of 2.8
but that didn't solve the issue

Just tested
I do however own hybrid separately and MPC tells me I have a newer version installed on update/install of mpc

maybe i'll try another re-install job ..
'n pre-delete some system related files beforehand
hopefully re-installing will replace said files

if all fails i'll go back to 2.6

same problem here, mac, 2.8 and renaissance, hybrid crash mpc soft...
the crash is only in expansion browser, no crash when loading it like a standard plugin

ok i've corrected the problem, you have to replace the folder "Contents" into :
/Library/Application Support/Akai/MPC/Libraries/Hybrid.vst
by the one from the hybrid vst plug installed into vst folder :
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Hybrid.vst (do right click show the content of the packet on the hybrid.vst file)

thanx for that info

tried 2.8 again ..
no luck ..
[ were no hybrid-vst in the system plugins folder
[ just a hybrid-vst in .. system / library / app.support / akai / mpc / libraries
tried a few things .. got nothing but app. quit-outs when trying to use 'hybrid'
[ mpc .. or mpc-vst inside 'reaper' ]

done with it now ..
trashed the 2.8 installer
and back to 2.6
no big deal as i'm only using mpc as a reaper plugin
[ so i can access 'hybrid' and 'keys' .. etc ]
don't particularly need the 2.8 midi features
