Any1 getting the "Too many devices connected!' popup in 2.8?

Anybody else come across this pop up in 2.8 at the start up?
It's been driving me up the wall and I've been having trouble getting it to go away. Has anyone experienced this and gotten rid of it??

Out of curiosity, how many devices did you have connected at the time?

MPC Live and keyboard connected to a hub connecting to my macbook pro. I've been trying to figure shit out and its like a neverending chase for it to not start up with that stupid pop up.

I did get it to work a few times without the pop up. But once I reboot and start up the software again the Too Many Devices connected pop up appears again.

Also, when I go into preferences in MIDI/Sync I notice in the Input ports it'll have MPC1 MPC2 but once i plug the Live in and out the settings change to normal and MPC1 MPC2 disappear. Then I close the software then open it back up with no pop up...Until I reboot my macbook and start the Live software up for it to appear again.. Very VERY frustrating...

3. MPC USB B out to your Macbook USB.
Do not connect the MacBook to the HUB.

Thanks! I had that set up prior but had to go back to an older macbook pro recently so now I have 2 usbs instead of the 3 but I just downgraded back to the last working update but I'll reconfigure the usbs and try a reinstall again later on. Thanks! Much appreciated

Not yet, but I'm sure I will by the end of this year...

Update.. Still experiencing pops ups and it doesn't seem like the driver is uninstalling properly unless I downgrade.. This is weird. I'm using High Sierra 10.13.6 if that matters

I think it might be working now. The mac I'm currently using had the connections blocked from the software. fixed that did a restart and it seems to load up without it

I am a new MPC Studio Black owner and I have just started to get this message when I startup. My MPC is connected to an iMac running OS Catalina 10.15.4.

Shut down your iMAC, unplug all Devices from the iMac except the keyboard. Then only connect the Studio Black into the iMAC and then power it on.
