MPC 2.8 worth the wait

Just curious - how long it usually takes Akai to fix stuff like this? Is it like 1-2 months or rather 6+?

It happens to me only.with sequence long samples on drum tracks that get triggered at the beginning of the sequence.
Same as clips but on drum track.
There are workarounds anyway, so it's not a show stopper.
And usually they get fixed soon, there was something similar on a past update and it was solved in a month or even less, if I remember correctly.

You know what I'm going to install 2.0 firmware for my X just to see what it was like with the slow ass screen lol

Hey, lm a S1v4 and Reason man. I love both those DAWs. The thing is l just couldn't do everything in the MPC l wanted. Akai didn't build it that way. If l had out board gear maybe but lm not going that route either.

So you have your X midied up to Cubase?

Your. My Man Danoc! Yeah I like it with tho you can use the on board audio card to use the 16or 32 midi outputs.. my Motu 828es only has 8 audio outputs....

Too buggy. I went back to 2.7.2 but now it's still not the same as it was. Some programs don't load up right... Even after I save it correctly.


This is a big disappointment. It was working fine before this update.

Are all projects a problem on 2.7.2 now, or just ones that you loaded? Autosave might've done something to the project... which would stink for those who rely on it.

EDIT: Also... are you having this problem on standalone or software?
