@ Certifiedbeats

So you upload your projects everytime you have a problem?
Really?
I didn't find any of you doing it on these threads you put.
And it was no difficult to make a test, given that I explained all in details.
Fine.
Your duty to judge the other users is very nice.
Go on like this.

I want to apologize to everyone in this thread.

I was originally going to be the first to make a golden response but since having recently been spending a lot time with this Korean/Dominican broad, I'm seeing things a bit differently.

She works as a personal trainer and has a background in track and field. She wants to be a singer.

Especially from people who don't even realize that 2.8 is full of wierd bugs here and there.
Like did you notice that after using qlink overlay on track mute, sonetimes the data dial doesn't work to change the sequence from the top bar?

What I gather from this is that it only takes 10 minutes to show the problem... but I still don't have a grasp on it... but I only spent 5 minutes to be fair... I left my MPC on for three hours idling just in case that's part of the problem.

I'll give it one more try... but yowza...

Great.

Did you make this thread just so you can act like a d-bag to the people that are trying to help?

I wonder which project can be provided by people who claim that he is selling his Mpc and don't use it because he doesn't like it.
And I wonder how many of you provide a project when he is highlighting a problem and discuss it on this forum.
looking at the posts, I would say not even one of you.
So you are all saying lies.
Just say I don't have time to make the test or I don't care about it.
It's easier for everyone.
Or skip the thread and that's it.

I am just asking if someone can try to do what I wrote and tell me what happens to understand if it's a bug.
That's it.

Lumi wrote:Make a new project with a drum track and import a clip or sample of same bpm and bars into the drum track.
Then put the sample or clip at one shot and with decay at max, and put a note on grid edit at the beginning of the sequence to trigger it.

So some of this seems to be new information that was not in the original post...

I believe I have setup everything as you have, and I am not having this problem.

Setting Decay to max seems silly though, as it forces the sampled content to decay a bit more than halfway through the sample so that by the time you go to the next sequence it is definitely not playing.

I suspect I am missing something, but since you're not posting an example of the problem I'm not able to help.

Thanks.
If you can, try with an imported clip of same length and bpm of sequence.
You need to put decay at max to let the clip play until the end, otherwise it dies before. Being the same length of the sequence, it cannot overlap anyway.

Well if Ive got a problem that nobody else is having, about the only thing I can do is upload the project so others can try it out. For all you know, your firmware got corrupted or you've got a corrupted song file. Its not often but it DOES happen and is very possible. Hell the MPC Software corrupts project files left and right, I was glad to move to the Live from that crap. If you think were all going to steal your hard work and get rich off it, well thats on you for the lack of trust towards the people you ask for help.

If nobody can reproduce it, we cant do shit without physically being able to see what you're doing. You can write down instructions all day long, if people are following them and not seeing the issue, we cant do anything more..

Wait a minute, Frisbi is that you??
