Individual track outputs

Am I missing something here?

The live can only output to programs or pads?

Seems like my 1k could output the tracks regardless if using same program

So if I understand correctly, you want to set the routing to an indvidual output per track?

This is only possible for audio tracks. For midi tracks it's pretty obvious this is not possible, because it only has midi data. That's why you have to select a pad or a program.

Also, you can only use one program per track, so in that sense, it doesn't matter if you assign the whole program to a specific output. Or in case you have your drums in one program, you can route a pad to a specific output.

I suspect the OP is talking about a feature in JJOS (2XL or 3?) that allows you to set individual outs for each pad in a program. Not sure though.

Software definitely allows this
Saves me exploding tracks
No idea on hardware as I'm on a Ren

You can set individual pad outputs in the Pad Mixer. Only works on Drum Programs obviously but it can be done. Change the output in the same place on the left you would in the main mixer.

Lamp, my situation is that when I explode to do a audio mix down to drag to reaper 2 or 3 tracks will have nothing or a few clicks.

I can’t pin down what’s happening.

The kicker is that the tracks play before I bounce to the mix down. It doesn’t matter if it’s in standalone or software.

One thing I tried was to copy the sequence and delete everything except the bad tracks thinking it was a mute issue but still nothing.

This is holding me up big time.

Maybe just as a test try something simple.
Make a program with 3 sounds: kick, snare, hihat.
Record a simple drumloop.
Now use the explode function.
Does it work?

If yes: You did something wrong in your other project
If no: let me know and we'll check further.

Are these tracks audio tracks or programs? They *look* like programs from the video... but I'd rather check.

My brother in law was having a problem on the MPC One in stand alone trying to export, and the audio tracks wouldn't export properly out of Song mode. I was able to play around a bit and could kind of reproduce the issue on my end on the MPC X... it seemed to have something to do with changing sequences and in some cases it was referencing an older empty track... I couldn't do it consistently enough to pin point the problem though.

I know you're on software, which might be different... but if you've got more details it could possibly help to understand how you're building the track, or if you've got steps we can try at home to reproduce the issue. If we can get a consistent reproducer it'll be much easier to get Akai's attention and help them drive a fix.

It does the same thing standalone or controller. I copied the sequence so I wouldn’t mess up my original sequence. I sent in a email request with AKAI.

My first few explodes went fine tho then it started this shit!
