The standalones turned up because of the fuss made about having to use software with an mpc

Didn't do a great job of intergrating them properly first time around

Can't see them trying again any time soon.

The answers to this is pretty simple: Maybe.

We are not akai employees so nobody knows. I guess you just have to have some good old patience. If money is an issue, you could always sell some crack rocks so you can buy an mpc one or live.

Well first we should have the actual ones working good and without bugs.
They add features and they don't check the side effects of adding features so new bugs always coming out.
First they should look for some serious beta testers for the actual ones.
