Automate offset clip launching for a scene

Hey all -- wondering if there's a way to adjust the timing of a single clip launching as part of a scene (i.e., so one clip is launched later than the others).

An example of what I mean: Say I have two clips in a single row. When I press scene launch, I want the first clip to start immediately (or whenever the launch quantization tells it to) but I want the second clip to start when the first clip hits the second bar. Is it possible to automate that behavior when I press the scene launch? Or do I just have to time the launch by individually selecting the clips?

Hmm, you know I bet this task could be accomplished with...........an ARRANGER!

ok,this is what i do.

Instead of using audio clips i load the samples i want into a drumkit,set them to 'note on'
I then program the loop into a clip.
For scenes where i want a sample to start later etc i will program it in that way.
If i dont want it to repeat itself like that i then create the next scene to be the continuation.

Its a pain but cant see any other way round it.
