MPC Doesn't play samples even if they are 16 bit.

I bought my Mpc 1000 gen 1 - the blue one, that was said to be working perfect - but the first thing that I've discovered was that about 70% of samples that were already in it (HARD DISK) - didn't play anything .
Well I thought it will be the issue of them not being exported to 16 bit, so I went ahead and exported my own samples to 16 bit and boom same issue happens - not all the files are playing and some are playing but with roughly cutted out frequencies of original sample. I asked a specialist whom repairs mpcs and I was told to format the disk which didnt resolve anything.
With all the remaining working samples I can do anything - , and also they're mostly coming from similar sample packs therefore there is a bigger percentage of a sample to work if it's from the sample pack that a different WORKING sample comes from too.
Although as I said, still most of them dont work even if they're coming from that sample pack that tends to work more.

1. Try a CF card - does the problem persist? If it does, then there is possibly an issue relating to the hard drive, either the drive itself or the connection to it. Or...
2. Try taking out any memory upgrades to rule out RAM issues.
3. Original Akai OS has drive formatting issues, but this normally results in an on screen error message. The fix is to install the free JJOS and then reform the drive, formatting with Akai OS will not fix it, your MPC Specialist should know this.

Generally speaking for persistant issues unsolved by re-formatting etc, do completely remove all upgrades to rule these out, including the internal drive and RAM. Basically strip the MPC back to factory, just use a CF card, make sure you are running the latest Akai OS or preferably the latest free JJOS.
