Brand new mpc one won't turn on anymore.

when I try to start it up the screen just flickers.sometimes the pads will 2.akai won't answer.guitar center looking for a replacement. The only think I might have done wrong was try to to start it up again wile it wasnt completely done shitting dwn.

Are you able to return it to Guitar Center for a refund, or are you past your return window? Sounds like a bum unit.

Ya looks like ima just get my money back.was hoping someone heard about this,and they'd tell me how to Manuel reset or something,but no kno ones heard of this problem.

Maybe a faulty power supply ?

Mine did that a few times when I was on the 2.7 firmware. I just left it unplugged for a few minutes and then it was fine. It hasn't happened yet on 2.8.

I need to unbox my Live 2 and test it.

Just happened to me. I’ve had mine for 1 year, no problems. Just tried to turn it on and the screen & pads flickered for a second and then nothing. It’s like the power button wouldn’t stay on (not that that makes sense).

Okay, well… I unplugged it from the wall and replugged it and then it turned on an immediately loaded the Trap kit and went into an edit window.
