Strange behavior with Pads 1-8

So, this happens periodically with my MPC when I am working with my own drum programs. Periodically, I can no longer use the pads to trigger or select after touching them one time(this is Trump if pads 1-8 only). So if I assign samples to them I can only trigger those samples one time. Then it seems to just mute the pad. I know the pads read velocity and aftertouch and periodically it works as normal but right now it is doing this almost every time I start messing with programs.

I have tried turning off or changing play modes so i can turn it from chromatic to Notes to Off and it doesn’t effect the issue. Hope someone can help so I can utilize all the pads again. Thanks

Try erase -> automation and see if that helps.

Eh... I don't know about hate... but I just don't typically have that in me... on the other hand I can absolutely take a good laugh.

didn't know hate would be a trigger word for some serious shit, but maybe trump-bashing/trump-dissing was more suited.
