Two MPC ONE Beginner Questions: Vocals barely audible while

I have been an owner of an MPC One for a week now. And as a newcomer in the MPC field, I am teaching myself piece by piece.

Today I wanted to sample a few songs and connected my tablet to "input 1". Sound is good, but vocal parts are hardly audible.
Is there a hidden LowPass / HighPass filter somewhere that I might have overlooked? Or is it the device?

Another Question:
I also updated to 2.8 immediately after receiving it. Directly after the update all extensions from "Browse" disappeared. If I click for example on "Instruments" it will be tried to switch to "Internal/Expansions/Instruments" for a fraction of a second, but in the end, it always ends up in the root (with the folders "Demos" and "MPC One").

Can anyone tell me where the extensions went? At the first start with 2.7, they were still there.

None of that should be happening. I would try a reset to rule out any update flakiness. MENU > SETTINGS > RESET PREFERENCES

But if your internal expansions are no longer on your drive, this could indicate a faulty internal disk. The update shouldn't be touching the expansions though. Go to BROWSER > Places > internal' - is the 'expansions' folder there? And are the expansions inside? There should be sub folders such as 'Instruments' 'Clips' etc, and sample content inside each of these folders.

The vocal issue might be due to the cable, your MPC or your tablet. Or the above update flakiness. There's no hidden filters but always double check in the channel mixer to ensure you haven't accidentally added any FX to the masters etc.

Done that before. Without any change. Also tried the other steps from the website. Regarding the second problem I wrote a message to Akai Support a few days ago, no response so far.

The "expansions" folder in "internal" only has "Demos" and "MPC One". The instruments, clips, etc folders are gone and the Quick Access in the "Content" Tab is useless right now.
The Expansions Tab only shows "factory content" and "demos and templates".

The MPC One folder structure might be different to other MPCs as it has a different library. Perhaps 'Factory Content' is where the expansion content should be - what's inside that folder?

Thats the content from the MPC One Folder. Some WAV's, XPM's and sxq's.

In general I can handle the extension problem. Will probably have all expansions and samples on my SSD hard drive in the future. Unfortunately, some of the UI is now no longer usable for me.

The record problem just gives me more headaches, in fact maybe a reason for me to send the device back.
