So I recently got a new soundcrsft mixer, which now has all 6 outputs of the MPC live going into analog eqs. First 2 channels also have a dbx compressor, which is getting me good results from drums and whatever I output from the MPC. However, I would like to route my analog inputs that are going into the MPC Live to the channels with the the dbx compressor. It's not a biggie if I can't as I can just switch cables when need be....but was wondering if the routing capability is available? MPC live otherwise does a good job allowing me to output the internal tracks as I please.

Thanks tho not sure if that explains it. So is the routing configured via an audio track? In normal midi tracks, u can't route audio but programs/plugins can be routed to different outputs. If audio tracks can be used to route the monitor in to an individual output then that answers my question. Will check when home later.

Why does it have to be the individual outs and not just the 1/2 stereo? You can assign all your other programs and sounds to 3/4/5/6 then and use 1/2 stereo for the input.

Maybe you can elaborate what you are trying to acomplish... Most of the times there are more ways to rome.

In any case, it's not possible to re-route the input 1/2 to individual outs. In that case you'd have to record it as a audiotrack first and then set the output in the audiotrack settings.

Mpc inputs go to mpc outputs, I posted that part in the manual.
Mpc outputs can’t be re-routed back into to other mpc outputs.
Manual doesn’t mention that because it can’t do it.

Was more because the two particular channels have compressors built in, but u don't want to run everything through them. As said it's not a biggie. I don't think the manual is that clear in this instance (or more like my simple brain couldn't work it out). But yeah I could try an alternative routing as you suggest. Anyways thanks for the confirmation.

I know this is an old post now...but just in case it helps some one you can now do this in mpc standalone. Just route the input to an audio track, monitor but do not record. you then use it like a "live" audio track choosing both the input and output and have fx inserts like every other pad or program.
