Easter Egg: Free-running vs Retriggered LFO

Anyone else spot this little addition to the program LFO section in the MPC Software? Free-running vs retriggered LFO? Doesn't seem to be saved in the program file though. As far as I can tell there's no corresponding variable in the XPM file to remember this setting. Also nothing showing in the hardware UI.

Wow thats exactly what ive been wanting.......only thing is it does not seem to do much

Resets to not free after Its done nothing too.Oh well....

Retriggered lfos would be very on top on my wishlist for standalone

They are retriggered. Its the free running ones every one has been asking for..

Damn never saw this but I haven't opened the software since 2.6 was current.. Good to see it there even if it doesn't work at the moment. Theres a nice blank spot next to the Sync option on the LFO page in Program Edit too. Maybe 2.9???

I am not at home right now, but I would have betted that the lfos are not retriggered in standalone when I messed arround with singlecycle waveforms..will try in the next days, if you are right I fooled myself for many many months because I never checked it again lol^^

I don't understand why its so difficult for them to go pull an MPC4K out of storage (you know they keep one there to remind them of when Akai was legit), and just copy the damn features from it. I get they 'lost' all the IP but jeez at least get a damn pen and paper and go 'Ok this is what we need to do when we write the MPC sampler'..

Seems like they are heading In That direction and even building on it. I don t recall the 4000 having envelope followers.
