I have also encountered the issue with the same unit.
The left side speaker buzzing. Returned to Gear4Music 4 times and still not fixed.e

I have a MPC live 2 retro edition and also can hear a slight vibrating frequency in the top left of the unit. I notice some bass doesn't do this, but other do.
I had just returned one today because 3 pads were mushy feeling. I compared it to my X and it was not the same at all so i returned it. Not sure what else to say.
I love the unit, not sure about the speakers regarding dirty bass. It is what it is i guess. May keep, may not.

They are rather small speakers... so expecting them to reproduce low end frequency is probably a bit too much to ask of them, especially when you've got a full mix going on.

I just got the Live 2 new last week and have this speaker issue. Right side on various sounds. Just chiming in. I submitted for an exchange.
