Can the MPC One use Live Control Integration?

hey y'all,

i've been trying to determine whether the MPC One is capable of integrating with Ableton Live in the same way that the MPC X, MPC Live (Live II?), and the Force are able to. Has anyone been able to find any conclusive information?

i know that Akai noted that each MPC this gen can run the same software, but i don't see the option available on my end. i am using 2.8 and i am able to use ableton link, but i'm unable to do anything like i'm seeing in this video:

i thought that maybe it was exclusive to the Live, Force, and X as they have Wi-Fi but they have documentation for the ethernet connection as well...

The User Guide unfortunately says "Ableton Control Mode is not compatible with MPC One." - but maybe in a future update? Can't be that hard!
