MPC VIP MPC ESSENTIALS

I have akai vip software And ESSENTIALS when I set the audio output and input to my Steinberg ur44c interface it comes back with ERROR WHEN TRYING TO OPEN AUDIO DEVICE! couldn’t change sample rate

You are not very specific. What system are you using, what OS?

My first guess would be a problem with Essentials (32 bit) and/or OS and/or related drivers.

That’s a good guess! I’d also suggest checking your sample rate, as it is possible that the older plugins may not operate at the sample rate the DAW may be requesting.
