Hello Guys

I have for you a good news. Finally proper screens protector appeared on a market. Is not a foil one that you can find online. That one is made of Nano Glass 9H hardness. If you still have foil on your screen that your MPC was shipped with. Now there is solution to get rid of it and have it replaced with proper stuff.

This needs a bump here haha.
Bought some last week when you posted the thread, just got em in the mail to the US yesterday.
Saw the package and couldn't remember what I ordered and was trying to figure out if I bought a cd from Europe or something until I opened it haha.

They're screen protectors alright! Fit perfect, completely 'invisible'. Played with the MPC for about 10 hours last night, no weird issues trying to tap on anything, etc. After 8 months, last night was the first time I took the factory plastic off my screen but this has me not worrying about anything now.
Bravo man, and thanks for the cool sticker and the microfiber cloth with the MPC grid logo on them haha! Now I got an MPC cloth to clean my glasses with! :D

I mean, there have been 'proper' screen protectors on the market before these mpcs even came out.
After a few light scratches on the original live film, I got some custom cut 'brotect airglass' film (protectionfilms24.com) that has been perfect for years now, no scratches at all. It was ~$15 & free shipping from Europe. Idk if its the same price but the custom measurement is: height:110mm, width:175mm, radius:0.5mm

I got mine a few days ago - thanks! They seem spot on, the responsiveness seems good (actually somewhat better than the factory protector, though that could be a placebo effect). Touchscreens tend not to like my fingers too much, maybe it's calluses from the guitar...

I'd suggest giving your whole unit a bloody good clean first though. Although my screen was clean as the factory protector had never been removed, I have a couple of annoying tiny pockets where a particle of dust must have strayed from the body of the machine (which is fairly filthy, it must be said) during the process.

Someone recommended the lint rollers you use on clothes. I might give that a go and try again. (can these protectors be reapplied, or would I need to start again with the second one?)

Yeah even if you do get it off in once piece, just like a shield for a phone, they never go back on the same way afterwards. Even if you lift it up and move it during the initial setting they tend to get funky..

Yeah lint roller actually works great on them. We have 3 cats and two giant huskies that blow their coats out year round so we're stocked with em. They pull everything right off the pads and turn em black again. Its kinda hard getting the body of the Live done, but I just grab the swiffer duster thing for that.
