Is there anyway to make appear all my instrumments from different expansions to appear under the "instruments" menu? Do I need to go to the xpansion everytime I want to find an instrument that is not in the Vault expansion ? I would like to find all my bass/guitar/etc instrumments in the same place.

You need to navigate to each expansion... or you could make your own... but no, the MPC doesn't have great file management, and no metadata necessary to make this happen right now.
