Autosampler Keygroup Hardware Error

Does anyone else get an error when trying to save a key group made from autosampler in hardware mode to a location other than "internal"? Every time I try to save to the hard drive I installed it gives me an error and won't let me save. I have to save it to internal. I can save anything else I want to the installed hard drive. Not sure if it's a problem on my unit only or the new update?

I am on the newest firmware and did some really long autosample session last week in standalone. Everything went fine, the programs saved and I can load all of them from the internal mpc live mk1 ssd. Sounds a bit more like a failure of your drive.
It would maybe help if you can explain what exactly the error says when saving^^

@op, just to make this clear: In my previous post, I saved all the autosampled programs to my additional ssd in the mpc live, not the regular internal storage^^

If you cannot save to your hdd than it may be hdd failure. Try another hdd. Try SD card.

What mpc is it?

Live 2 and It's a brand new SSD Samsung, it shows up and works to transfer from computer. I guess that doesnt mean anything it could still be bad. Why never save to internal? I did notice that some of my key groups didnt save.

ah ok.. so similar reasoning as when dealing with a computer and DAW. Doesn't AKAI load all those samples on this internal drive?

Why do they even have the internals accessable to save to in the 1st place if it causes such a mess? And why is there not a warning?

I'm new to the MPC world (MPC One) and if I hadn't done a good amount of research before buying it I'd assume I was *supposed* to save to the internal drive considering that Akai makes no mention of the possible issues. I think it was a thread on this site where I learned that.

I'm hardly scratching the surface of this thing so far but I'm really glad I spent time reading reviews and forum posts before buying. It gave me an idea of the "quirks" I'd run in to before buying in and has saved me a lot of frustration.
