I think its the crappy one track "Essentials" version you used to get with the controllers. They just updated it to 2.8.1 heh. I started downloading it when I got home from work but I saw the filename was something like MPCBeats-v2.8.1 and I figured they just rebadged the MPC Software or something. They're acting like its some new game changer if you read their press on it hah.

It's not MPC Essentials, it's the full MPC Software but with 8 MIDI track and 2 audio track limit. Pretty good move IMO.
