Brass, Lead and Rhythm Electric, Percussion, Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Hammond B-3, Electric Bass. How you make a Reggae song, is like asking how do you make a Hiphop Song, or write an Opera. Start off with notes, tempo, and build upon the idea. There's no one way to make it or the different styles.

Music is melody. rhythm, and tempo. If you know those three things, then you create any kind of music.

Y'all are a mess. LOL. And I mean that in a funny way.

Anyway, still gonna be an awesome opportunity to learn from each other with the submissions. Curious who is going to bring a new genre to the table. Curious who is going to emulate instrumentation. Curious who is going to come with some raw drum samples... just looking forward to this in general. Curious who is going to come with a smoothed out replay of the song. All valid, all good.

I changed the genre big time - just experimented with the main chord progression and built around it. Had some challenges getting it all to sit right - the very first version was MAD busy - and WACK as hell. LOL. Now I think I got it smoothed out.

And since we're still in battle mode... y'all got less than one week. I'm comin' ready to defend this belt.

DANOC trying to get a raggae tutorial. No sir! You have to figure it out on your own. Then submit what you have or start collecting STAMPS!

Yeah... I've been honing my track... a few elements didn't feel right... so while cool... they are scrapped... good fodder for a new track for sure though.

I've also made a synth harp key group in case Danoc doesn't deliver.
