Filter Velo

I was just reading about this last night and wondered how this works, let me try to explain.

If you had a sequence 8 bars long and you put a bass sounds on the start of each bar, could you apply some filter to that bass sound and then make the sound move up and down using the velo setting by pressing open window in the filter screen??? Thats really badly worded but you might get the picture

yup the harder you hit the more top end will come through if you set vel-cut off to 100 and set the filter cut off right down....

How hard can you hit the pads without breaking them?!?!?!?!? cheers by the way

damn hard dude...i was surprised when i first got my mpc that i couldnt smack them and get 127 vel- now i can and you have to hit hard...
