certain samples/Plug ins loss of volume

Hi guys So its seemed the KICK / SNARE on most kits were extremely quite, even wen I audition the kit I get the reverb of the hit but not the actually sound.
Aswell as that most of my baseline plugs have lost all there volume I have to turn up my monitors to get a very small sound coming out.
Also the metrone samples are stupidly quite apart from the clap, when I click that it is normal volume but everything else seems to have lost the volume...
any ideas would be much appreciated, ive recently done the 2.8 update was fine until I cam onit the next day

The 2.8 update has reset some of the Initial Presets of some effects. I compared them on my X and Live. So some Kits that used a Init Preset may sound different.

One example... AIR Delay Init Preset is different on 2.6 and 2.8. The same with Air Reverb. So i can imagine some things are Tweaked a lil bit as well
