Ive have experience the same exact problem you are having, the only solution i know is to get it repaired, a person like me will get it repair if you paid 300 for it, i paid 250 for mines pads messed up + 405 in repair total cost 655.00, and it works great, i could of got one from ebay in good condition for about 700-800 bucks easily, take the chance and send it out or let me know if you wanna get rid of it. My theory is that the black connector the connects the pad sensor is loose from the motherboard and it needs resoldering or maybe replace and plus the sensor pad end connector is damaged, im not trying to misinform you, guess what i was a victim of this second hand mpc pad banging glitch. Peace
