MPC X 2.8 controller mode issues.

Ok I have 2 issues going for me. Just got my mpc x a week ago
1st: whenever I have a sample loaded up and it’s selected in the current track, the sample plays out whenever I hit any button functions. Example: hitting play, stop, record, even touching the q links will trigger the sample to play. The notes are not recorded. However, it becomes bothersome.
2nd issue: whenever I have a drum kit loaded up from one of the expansions, when Recording and using the pads specifically (As far as I know if I use my mouse to strike the pad in the software I don’t have this issue) each subsequent note is stretched out to the previous note. For example I hit a kick and the next kick the note will start in the same place the previous kick ended no matter how many bars later I hit the kick. I had this issue some time ago with my mpc studio however the resolution to problems I’ve had in The past are forever lost on the retired akai forums. Any ideas guys? Sorry this post is so wordy btw.

Do these Problems happen in Standalone as well as Controller Mode?

As far as I can tell both of these issues are just in controller mode. I tried a reset in standalone and The both problems mentioned above still persist.

Did you delete anything off the internal factory drive by chance? Also if you didn’t do any songs yet do you feel like down grading your firmware , reset your machine and then see if your bug exists.
