Hi There,

I couldn't see a definitive answer on this so sorry if it's in the manual. With the MPC One, can you remove kick & bass from the headphone outs and use that as the main mix? And then use main L + R as separate mono outs for kick & bass?

I realise the MPC Live has more outs but ironically, the amount of buttons (and layout) plus the size of the MPC One, make it much better live and for touring - and who wants a speaker on-stage?

Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Cheers

You cannot monitor sounds on the headphones. The HPJ is tied to the L/R outputs... so you’d have to hard pan your content to L and R, so for example you could do a mono L for output, and mono R for monitor... it’s a bit of a pain... so otherwise you’re forced to use the software and a different audio output... or consider the Live/X if you want true multiple outputs.
