When has this stopped being true?

Sorry for click-baity title, but that was my biggest dissapointment with MPC and it turned out to NOT be true at all. I'm talking about the alleged necessity to keep track & program structure intact across sequences if they're meant to be used in Song Mode. Page #285 of Live/One/X User Guide for 2.8 says this is the case...



...but in practice it's not - I can have 3 sequences, each having a completely different program on Track 1 and if I place them one after another in Song Mode they'll play just fine.

Obviously I can't consolidate a Song like that into single Sequence and have it play correctly, but why would I want to do that anyway?

So when has this changed? And why doesn't AKAI update their User Guide to reflect the changes? Several people now told me that this is how Song Mode works and - frankly - I wasn't even questioning it and checking it by myself, only to have someone on Reddit question me.

Another example - very obvious this time - is this nugget of wisdom on page #112, which is super weird in particular because the paragraph mentions Live II and One, so it had to be updated very recently:

Looks likes a mistake. Could be fixed by saying, "Computer" Plugin are disabled. This tends to happen in USER guides, perhaps they need UG editor to proof it again.

Well, but they give a very specific example that just doesn't work like they describe, so I believe it's an outdated description of limitation that was once in place, but isn't anymore.

That's true, to solve it you can read through the manual, note all the errors, then submit all the errors to them.
