What daw did you decide to use it on or are you still going to try to use it with the MPC software?

Yes, I upgraded to Studio One V5, I'm super excited and can't wait for my Avantone Mixcube to arrive! I go so much new music to create and mix. I just wanna go crazy with it right now...

I haven't tried it yet because I'm still renovating my home studio, I'm hoping Console 1 and Fader 1 will work out for MPC software, but if not, I do know from Softube's own videos that they tailored it for controlling Studio One which I've been mixing records with for a couple of years now.

I will be patching my audio the same way I patched my audio before using my Universal Audio Apollo system using my patchbay.

A couple of months ago I invested in the Behringer X32 Rack system specifically for tracking my synth collection into LUNA using ADAT and word clock connections.

Because I own more synthesizers not on my new synth wall I ordered a Behringer S32 Stagebox for the X32 Rack, so I'm waiting for that to arrive in stock.

As far a power goes I'm using Furman power conditioners and power surge batteries in case of a power outage while working on a project.

No, not at all. I took the photo right after doing the stress test of my synth wall to make sure it can handle the weight.

I never done renovations before so I’m learning how to do these things like painting, drywall, lighting, and installing these rack rails for the very first time.

I don’t know anything about this stuff, I normally would hire people who are qualified, but I don’t want to risk getting COVID-19 so I’m doing it all myself.

I’m doing all the cables and power adapters last.

I still have much more work to do.

There’s two stages to this project because I ordered the Platform desk and two sidecars from Output and unfortunately it takes 14-16 weeks for them to deliver them, so my current mission is to get everything in the studio together before my new studio furniture arrives.

This is a complete renovation project...

We placed in wall conduits for the audio cables and new outlet connectors. Built a floating floor to the desk, with all the cables were hidden. Doing this force everything to never change. Boy was that fun but I'll never do it again.

That 14-16 weeks is a killer, it may be easier to grow tree, chop it down, and build it yourself.

For the cables you can get some inlet/outlet inserts that you can put a hole in the wall so that you hide the cables behind the drywall. Doesn't require much special, just able to cut a couple holes in the wall, and then the bracket will twist to latch behind the drywall to hold it in place... something like this.

Looks like you're going for relatively permanent, so I'd consider it... just make sure you zip tie/velcro tie the cables or something so that the don't fall behind the wall. It's also potentially a lot of weight in the cables so worth a zip tie at your mounting bracket to help route and relieve cable stress.

Yes briefly played with Luna and it sounds great! Unlike Akai Universal audio release updates for Luna very very often and I think that’s great! I can see Luna being amazing soon.

We placed PVC Pipes for cable conduits, because pro audio cables tend to of thick gauge. Plus it's easier to remove and re-snake when a cables goes bad. This is the reason, I sold off most of my external sounds and why I'm a fan of DANTE.

I don't think I'm ready for cutting into sheet rock, perhaps after this pandemic is over I can hire a specialist for that, but for now I'm gonna stick with my original plan of using zip ties and covering the wiring with diffusers...

Yes, I drilled into the studs, I don't know how much weight how much they hold, but everything is secure. It was nerve racking because I'm not a D.I.Y. guy at all...
