@Fresh dam. 9? Im not up on the Behr when it comes to synths. Ima check it out. What's your top go to Behr synth.

I have one Behr product and its solid. I picked it over a native product that l have.

So I registered and installed both my Console 1 and Console 1 Fader and installed the software and tested out if MPC Software would accept the Console 1 ecosystem and it seems that it does work as I was able to control the plugin on all 8 tracks I applied it to.

The plugin immediately tells you that MPC Software is not recognized as an application that it's mapped to which is understandable, but again it appears to work on every channel I assigned it to. My MPC X was not connected to my Macbook, so I have no audio proof yet, but I will test it as soon as humanly possible.

I will say this about the controllers, they are built like tanks and the knobs and faders feel nice. Being able to use two hands like on a real mixing console is great, and although I still need time to get used to the layout, I'm looking very forward to using this on all my projects in the very near future.

I shouldn't call this so early, but I think I made a very wise decision in my investment of this ecosystem...

This ecosystem works perfectly with Studio One! You’ll never have to touch your mouse once you load it up! So dope!

I'm also considering Console 1 & Fader, but for Studio One and Logic. No pan knobs on the Faderports has me considering alternatives (Studio One).

Regarding the MPC software, I'd imagine the lack of plugin delay compensation would be an issue, if I'm understanding the discussion.

It appears limited with Logic Pro X, but with Studio One it's hand in glove perfect. It seems the full potential reached with Console 1 is mostly DAWs that use VST3 according to this chart... https://www.softube.com/support/faq-con ... e1dawchart I can't speak on MPC Software yet until I set my MPC back up...

Yeah, there are a few features missing with Logic according to their chart. Logic is my alternative/backup DAW, so I'm Ok with this.

The combo seems to do near everything I'd need with S1. I imagine it would still fall short compared to the Faderport 16, but I like the form factor more. I'm in a writing/creative mode, so I have a bit more time to decide before any serious mixing needs to be done.

I heard that bro. For me I kinda like working with my mouse a lil bit. It doesn't bother me, I'm Inside the Box, totally, no outboard gear. I'm either getting a 40 inch or 32 inch monitor for my stoo in a couple of days. I just got a sweet check so I gotta go hunting for a couple of sweet software toys  One of them is 808 Studio, it looks like a beast, I have sublab for my laptop, and that's dope. I want the 808 Studio because the company supports offline activation. Looking to get the other four Roland VSTi software joints. Man it's just lovely right now. So I'm on a mission where my attorney got me locked into some sweet clients. So like you, I am going another route and path but will see you at THE TOP!

If you love working without a mouse you did the right thing, plus you have the aesthetics, and there's nothing wrong with looking good making great music. I'm more a compact guy now, plain, Ima get a couple of lava lamps though, take some pics in the stoo and show you when I got everything done. :-D And I want a new laptop also. Thin one. So you should be right at home with your studio pieces.

As for Studio One I'm about to cop Version 5. I love that DAW, it's a beast, I will start making tracks in it soon, being I have my X One Fader from Behr locked in the template. It's so dope! It controls all of Studio One except for one function, I can accept that. The aesthetics looks beautiful. I love some times to make my chords and melodies in it then switch it over to Reason 11, and do my drums and layering there. I love both of those DAWs. It just keeps getting better.
