very cheap mpc2000? can mpcs get bricked?

i could get a mpc2000 for 200 bucks...

but im not sure if it is bricked? can the mpc200 even get bricked?
only visual flaw is the screen is a little bit crooked...
it says insert mpc2000 disk and comes with nothing besides a power cord...
there is a usb readr instead of a floopy drive already isntalled... i think the user didnt installed the matching OS for the usb...thats why it still ask for floppy....


i think this is a easy fix i probably just need to get a floppy drive to install the right os for the usb reader right? or am i missing somethign? thx

Any electronics item can get bricked.

If it's asking to insert a disk, it's because it is not seeing an os disk installed.

Why would you buy a floppy drive when you already have a usb emulator installed?
