So I just purchased a MPC Live 2, as you know it is integrated with Splice. I was having alot of fun with it until recently. I ran into an issue and Im hoping I can find a solution. So splice has a feature where you can download sounds and then sync them into your Live 2. When I download sounds into my computer they download as .WAV but when I sync my samples to the MPC they download as .FLAC. Now the issue im running into is that when I attempt to play one of the "synced" .Flac sounds in controller mode it doesn't play at all, but if I attempt to play a .wav file it plays fine without a problem. This only seems to be an issue in controller mode because in standalone mode it plays .flac/.wav files without issue. Can someone explain or please help? Is this a setting? Malfunction, Whats going on?

I had the same problem (although I feel like the flac wasn't playing in standalone mode either). I reached out to Splice support and they told me to contact Akai. I've been too lazy to do that so I've switched to syncing my files via the Splice desktop app.

OK just making sure I want crazy or anything. I checked the manual and it is compatible with playing .flac files. It just seems strange to me that it would stop working in controller mode. I have to call Akai.
