Protective Button Film on MPC X (Both Sides)

Hello

Can anyone confirm if they have protective film on their MPCX on both the PAD bank area and the 3/4 REC gain section, there appears to be slight marks from the manufacturer, but noticed it appears to be on the film, is this something which can be removed? similar to the screen protector?

I even removed the coating on the OLEDs. Looks a lot brighter.

Lol... that coating made me think my eyesight was getting bad.

Fact is, I have a "decksaver" cover for my X so never worried about scratching it, just was curious why they put that film on for those areas too.. I understand the screen, mine is still on for that, but button section and QkOLED displays...don't get it..

It makes it less likely to get scratched during manufacturing and packaging.
