The sad thing is: I bought the Force in 2019 and the Arranger was part of the featurelist, was even printed on the advertisements. I was so mad back then, that I returned it to the shop.
Now i just ordered another one, that hopefully arrives tomorrow, because after trying out nearly every competitioneer on the marked, I realized, that while others have a song mode (that I do badly wanted) but lack of other things, for example a good way to export stuff so I can arrange and mix in ableton, because to be realistic: even that I hate working on music with a mouse or touchpad, I am way better and faster with it, get way better results, and hate, that I cannot do the first 90% otb and then switch back easily.
So while I highly recommend everyone to buy gear for what I provided and not for what may come, Akai did a lot wrong on the force (and still is doing) ...

That's definitely great advice when buying any gear, too many people buy for vaguely promised 'coming soon' features. Buy a product for what it has on the day you buy it and if it doesn't live up to expectations, learn to adapt, maybe suggest feature improvements to the company, etc, but ultimately if you are just not happy sell it and move on to something else.
