Not this one, but if they release a Studio version in the vicinity of upgrades that I hope for, instant buy for me. Folks talking about perfect tools, Maschine+ with:

2-3 5-pin MIDI outs (I have 3 synths, only 1 has USB)
16GB+ RAM (I need to run all but the heaviest VIs)
SSD slot (read speeds)
All Komplete VIs compatible, bonus for NKS

Instant buy!

Handles 8 instances of Massive, each playing 3 note chords. Can apparently handle more than 8 audio tracks, with effects, pitching up/down without quality loss

Not gonna lie, this looks dope. ****!

I heard that the Maschine+is very "soulful" and that it has "better drums" and can emulate the "legendary MPC swing" so I am ordering it.

I also heard that it is "better at bass" and that it has better "coloring" of samples to give it that "complete sound" that every producer wants.

Does it also come with a built in navigation narrated by kanye west that tells you how to make your beat?

I've spent few hours with FM8 & Massive VSTs and damn, they're WAY above anything we have in MPC, even if they're "old" and "outdated" by modern standards.

Akai needs to step up their game!

Agreed. People are underestimating this, but it's a big deal that these vst's are running

3 hour live unboxing session with a piece of gear he's not too familiar with is just too painful to watch, waiting for the 4 minute edit. I skimmed through the vid though, it looks nice, very different 'vibe' to an MPC but obviously very similar in many respects.

So it does have Kontakt? The example instrument he played sounded basic though, no round robins etc. I wonder if it's able to run full kontakt instruments or perhaps it requires 'lite' maschine+ versions versions.

i've done it too. for now.

Have a look which subforum you're in. It's totally appropriate for us to discuss other grooveboxes here

It's not us vs them. It's always good to look at all the options in the market and then decide what is best for you :)
