Hi folks,
MPC One user here. I got a 128GB SD card for extra storage and after formatting it inside the MPC, its taking FOREVER to save/load projects and files. Any thoughts on this?

Card details: Lexar SDXC 633x 128gb 95mb/s

What type of format did you do?

Might be worth running some analytics on it from the PC to benchmark performance... it could be the format, or how it was formatted... some of these SD cards require specific alignment to run properly.

SD cards will act slow when you put lower bpm samples.

I think the speed is limited to USB2 specs ,so 40mb/sec would be realistic ,unless the card has a problem .

My One wouldn't format a new card at all, just gave me an error message. I did it in my card reader on my PC and it didn't take long.

Do a reformat of the SD card at 64 or 128 kb Allocation Unit size, and it will speed up 10 times faster. I used to get 10-30mb write speed on my usb stick, now I get 130mb per sec speed all from changing Allocation Unit size on the format page.
