Help Required PLEASE? loading samples

aight i got an mpc200xl and i got it with 32mb and a zip drive so i started loading sounds from the mpc disc u get with it but i put them on zip then loaded a few up that way but i load up like 5 and the it says not enuff memory to load up when i try loading up more why is this? can anyone help me out please. thx pz....

you sure those mumory chips are properly installed? might be worth checking under the hood to make sure everything is straight.

idk man i hope they r but i dont wanna pop the hood to c know what i mean is there any oTHer way to check and maybe is it doin this cos my samples r too big?

Press shift/sample- it should say 32 meagabytes installed. If it says anything else then I'm afraid you're going to have to open up the mpc and check out the chips, they might just be loose. I wouldn't worry about opening up the mpc too much, it's pretty simple to install the memory chips.

yea mine says 2mb installed... wtf. they say its been upgraded to 32 ima open it up and make sure there not loose

If IT say that what do I do what do I look For when I open it up
do all 200xl with a zip have 32mb or is this special made ones cuz mine says it only 2mb

As far as I know, no version of the 2000xl is sold by retailers with the 32mb upgrade. You can find demo models and used units with the upgrade installed but if you got it brand new then it should only have 2 megs regardless of the version(zip,studio,studio plus).

they shouldnt be sellin it sayin its got 32mb in it if its not. regardless of whatever. i phoned up and they said ring bak on monday so i rundg today and they said theyll get bak to me. ima ask for some sort of compensation its too much **** about which i didnt want i ordered the mpc with it all zip 32mb so i wouldnt have to upgrade it nah mean. so ima ask for some sort of compensation
