Hi,
does the MPC's use endless potentiometers (like Maschine) or optical encoders ?
Do all Pots keep the same resistance (unlike Maschine) and are they still working without any parameterjumps over years of heany usage ?
Does Akai offer spare parts (unlike Native Instruments) ?
What is your experice ?

How long do you have your MPC's what about the feel of the encoders ? Do they all still have the same resistance when tweaking ? Or do they feel different ?

Yes, still seem to have the original feel, even years later. I'm sure MPCstuff.com can arrange replacements if need be, nothing lasts forever :)

Had my unit for 3 years and the pots never gave me a problem. They all felt perfectly smooth and of equal resistance.
