Chops locking when “ALL” is selected in program edit mode

I’ve noticed that in program edit mode, if the “ALL” buttons mode is selected, and ANY adjustment is made to the start point of the chops, instead of moving all of the start points simultaneously, which is what one imagines would happen, instead, the chops somehow lock, their respective start points are all lost, but even worse, said start points LOCK in place, not allowing ANY of them to move at all, and one can’t even UNDO it either. The only solution is to go back to sample edit mode, (where all the chops are also lost by the way) erase all the now locked chops, and re-slice the whole sample. Why is that? Is there a preference setting somewhere to fix this or is this just a deep, profound design flaw?
