Akai MPC X | Softube Console 1 System

Here’s a dope Console 1 recipe for MPC Software:
Drum insert channels use the British Class A (Neve 1073)
Bass insert channels use the SSL 4000 E-Series
Keyboards and Synths insert Channels use the American Class A (API)
Submix and master channels use the SSL XL9000 K-Series
And now you know...

I got that Don Juan DeMarco workflow now. This simple color coding increased the speed of my productivity. I think I'm gonna order 4 Green caps for the Shape section...

Yep, I ordered Wu-Tang Killer Bee yellow fader caps...

I considered doing that color scheme, but I have my reasons for going the route that I did...

keep in mind that the MPC Software has no Plugin Latency Compensation.

Yes, I’m aware but it is not affected by Console 1 which works very well despite that there isn’t any automatic track naming, transport control, or simultaneous fader control which is okay given that I’m using Console 1 in MPC software to wuickly sculpt my instruments before rendering them for the final mix in Studio One...

My green knobs arrived, it looks much better now...

Here's what lm working with. My new 40 inch FHD TV, 20 different color schemes to put me in different in moods when l produce. Got some sturdy monitor stands, and got them in a sweet spot just to reference my music. But lm trying to figure out how console one would fit into my setup. I have Fabfilter all, so lm good there. Im an SSL man and l have that covered in Reason 11. I have top notch VSTis and VST plugins. So lm good.



I see you have that Behringer 32 rack and Apollo, looking dope man. Your color scheme on the C1 is killing it! Dope! Dam you must have everything Behr lol They need to give you a paycheck.
What would be lit is if you take your fader caps and switch them to the metal joints. That would be killer! How much did you spend on each cap for the C1? $1.00 each?

You're definitely gonna benefit from that screen real estate, and that LED lighting looks dope! I don't remember the exact price of the knobs, but I got them from DJ Tech Tools, I ordered Wu-Tang Killer Bee Yellow fader caps from another seller because I want all my volume controls to be that specific color, there's a method to the skittles madness...

I finally got around to assembling my new studio furniture and reorganizing a few of my racks. I still got more work to do, but it's coming along...
