CDr drive installer kit

hi there,
already have a Hd installed and
just want to install a cd drive in my mp..

could you tell me exactly
what do i need and where can i find
all the things to install the drive in the mp ?

The instructions are in the MPC4000 Reference Manual (in an appendix at the back), you can download that from Akai's website.

Other than those, you really just need a CD-R drive (when you buy an OEM one, it should come with the little screws and IDE and audio cable)

...and a screw driver! (well, maybe two screw drivers)

It shouldn't take more than half an hour to install (there are a lot of bloody screws on the MPC4000 case, that's why it takes so long - dunno why designed that case, but they obviously weren't a service engineer!)
