Sampling on the 60 and sequence memory

i'm just messing around with the akai OS.. 3.10 is on the way..

and it says when i sample a sound that all sequence memory will be erased.. wtf, what would happen if i made a sequence, then found a sample i wanted to add to it? would it all be erased? or do you have to save the sequence, sample the new sounds, and then load the sequence again?

BINGO!!! When you get 3.10 this issue is resolved!

man the mpc-60 ii has an incredible sequencing engine but the sampler part is wack unless you got 3.10 - why you think kats used S900/950 as their sampling engine and the 60 to control it?
